1000mm wide - Premium Woven Aluminium Ember Guard with a 2mm X 2mm hole aperture, and the highest grade powder coating available in the market, AkzoNobel Interpon D1010 Premium powder coating.
Aluminium being a non-combustible material, and our woven aluminium being a 2mm hole, it suitable as an ember guard in all BAL (Bushfire Attack Levels) ratings. Compliant with Australian Standard, AS 3959-2018.

What does the 2mm Ember Guard mesh actually stop?
The 2mm x 2mm aperture stops wind-borne embers plus finer debris, on top of the usual leaves, twigs, birds and mice. It's our fire-conscious choice for bushfire-prone areas, designed to AS 3959-2018 and CSIRO tested as a non-combustible aluminium mesh.
Why would I choose the 1000mm width over the narrower rolls?
The 1000mm is our widest roll, suited to wide spans like large valleys and big box gutters where you want full coverage in a single run rather than joining narrower mesh. Narrower widths suit standard gutters and tighter runs. Roof profiles and gutter setups vary a lot, so if you're not sure which width fits your job, call us on 1300 156 197 and we'll match it to your roof.
Is this mesh-only, or does it come with the fixings?
This listing is the mesh roll on its own, no saddles, clips, trims or screws. Choose mesh-only if you already have your fixings sorted or you're patching an existing job; if you're starting fresh, our full kits bundle Colorbond-matched trims and steel saddles from leading Australian suppliers including BlueScope® to make the install straightforward.
How is it sold, and can you cut it to a custom width?
It's sold in 10-metre increments (not per metre), so one unit is a 10m roll. We can cut to a custom width for a small $25-per-roll cut fee, and for unusual roofs or odd box gutters just call us on 1300 156 197 and we'll build something to suit.
Will this really mean I never clean my gutters again?
Honestly, no, and we won't tell you otherwise. Gutter guard minimises gutter maintenance, it doesn't eliminate it, very fine matter like seeds, blossom and pine needles can still pass through or sit on top. The 2mm aperture catches more of that fine material than our 4mm, but the only truly leaf-free gutter is no gutter at all.
How does the 20-year warranty work on this mesh?
The 20-year warranty covers degradation of the material itself, the aluminium mesh and its premium powder coating breaking down or fading. It doesn't cover damage from falling branches, hail or neglect. Our coating is salt-spray tested past 1000 hours, so it holds up well in coastal Gold Coast and beachside conditions.
We have possums in the roof. Will aluminium Ember Guard keep them out?
No, aluminium won't stop a determined possum, we've seen them tear straight through aluminium mesh to get back to their young in the roof. Possums need a steel mesh; we can source steel kits on request, so give us a call on 1300 156 197 before you order if possums are the real concern.
What does shipping cost and how fast do you dispatch?
Shipping is free over $500 and a flat $20 under $500, sent from our Gold Coast warehouse. We dispatch same or next business day depending on stock, with metro delivery usually landing within 1 to 7 days.
